How Hours Are Calculated
Duration = End Time − Start Time − Break Convert both times to total minutes from midnight, subtract start from end, subtract break minutes, then convert back to hours and minutes.

Yes — if end time is earlier than start time (e.g. 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), the calculator automatically counts through midnight.
How do I calculate weekly work hours?
